Several copycat versions of the original Cyber Clean^® compound exist, claiming to provide the same cleaning and disinfecting qualities. However, these products have no proven disinfecting effect and can indeed harm the equipment and surfaces by leaving residues. Laboratory tests performed on such products prove that they do not eliminate bacteria nor fulfill antibacterial norms. There is a high risk that these copycat products do not eliminate bacteria but only transfer it from one surface to another.
